DSI member, Dr. Daria Anderson from the School of Biomedical Engineering participated in Raising the Bar on the 9th of April 2024 and spoke on the topic – New neurological disease treatments (and a wobbly cat).
Her research has been inspired by their cat Phineas that was born with a neurological disorder. The talk discussed therapies that use electrical interfacing with the brain and apply viruses to the nervous system.
